At least three ambulances responded to the crash, which occurred near Exit 1 just before 2:30 p.m.
Northbound traffic remained at a standstill for roughly a half hour after the crash before it began to crawl forward. It finally began moving just before 3:10 p.m.
Southbound traffic contined moving steadily.
